Din Tai Fung is a global dumpling and noodle chain originating in Taiwan that has restaurants in major international cities. It has recently opened up a restaurant in Vancouver, located at Suite 200 - 1132 Alberni Street, Vancouver, B.C. The restaurant is massive by Vancouver standards seating over 300 people with a patio seating 88 people. But it looks more massive than that to the eye.
I have eaten at both the Seattle and Las Vegas restaurants and the quality of the Vancouver restaurant is far, far superior. Although the restaurant caters to a more mainstream customer base, I think they food is very authentic. I would love to see get a Michelin recommended rating.
