Event Horizon deleted scenes "definitely illegal", how?

Описание: Event Horizon is a film that notoriously had a troubled production, it also even more infamously has a lost directors cut that was so extreme, so disgusting in its depiction of the depraved violence the crew of the Event Horizon inflicted upon each other that it horrified studio executives and made test audiences physically sick!

Well Jason Isaac, one of the stars of the film just told Yahoo’s role Recall this in an interview about some of those cut scenes…were definitely illegal!

But how and why? Well he didn't say so here I speculate wildly based on what we know as to just exactly why they might be illegal?
