Returning to Life After Breast Cancer: Emily's Immunotherapy Story

Emily responded to standard treatment, but she wanted to do more to help lower the risk of her cancer coming back. She enrolled in a clinical trial testing a vaccine designed to train her immune system to protect her in case the cancer ever returned. http://www.cancerresearch.org/patients

Her experience with immunotherapy led her to the Cancer Research Institute, where she became the founding patient community manager for CRI's Answer to Cancer patient and caregiver education programs.
