I sat down with Thumpmonk from the team who brought you the Classic Doom 3 mod (cdoom for short). Thumpmonk, known IRL as Brian Gocher, was interviewed by Sonic Clang, also from the cdoom team, as part of the "Making of the Classic Doom 3 Mod" documentary.
Brian Gocher re-recorded E1M9 and wrote the music for the intro cinematic. Brian and Sonic Clang have been friends ever since working on the mod, but this is the first time they talked via call or video call. This conversation may be more for music nerds, and if normal people make it all the way through, good on you!
