The second leg begins with clouds on the horizon and rain in the air.
From riding as a convoy through Zoji La, feeling the cold wind drop temperatures below 10°C, to gearing up as drizzle turns the mountains grey — this ride was all about reading the skies and pushing ahead.
On the way, we paid our respects at the Kargil War Memorial, choosing to experience the moment without cameras. As the clouds closed in and the weather worsened, we pushed on and finally rolled into Kargil by night, ending the day with good food and much-needed rest.
This episode captures the calm before tougher days ahead — clouds, cold winds, convoy rides, and the quiet strength of the Himalayas.
