What is Star Citizen?

This is the Space Simulator everyone is talking about. The Universe is the main game mode of Star Citizen, as the game is currently still in Alpha stages of development. As Chris Roberts has stated, "I don't want to build a game, I want to build a Universe!" It is slowly becoming a Universe. The big update is Alpha 3.0, which has finally dropped on the Holidays of 2017. Though the current Build of the game is Alpha Build 3.13.1, which launched Wednesday, on May 19th, 2021. This is the Alpha Build 3.14 PTU with commentary and bugs, at Mando's expense. Prior to a Patch going LIVE, it's tested in The Public Test Universe Build of Alpha, where we do bugsmashing and such prior to the patch going LIVE for all Backers, so that it's playable in the PU. This particular patch features many of the long awaited Gameplay Mechanics, such as Crusader, Law System V2, New Ships, UI Updates, and the ever-improving Persistence. Persistence is now more prominent and functional, Professions, and Planetary landings already available. Along with caves, weapon attachments, FPS Mining, and mission sharing. I even got to keep all of my now 445 BEHRING P8-SC SMGs, 298 BEHRING P4-AR Ballistic Assault Rifles, 46 K&W Gallant Energy Assault Rifles. All of which I looted from missions. I even kept my armor, knives. But, all consumables(I.E. MedPens, CryptoKeys, Ammo, ETC.)were wiped. I lost all of my Ammo, and some other weapons/items. The Alpha Build 3.13.1 feels far more Semi-stable than 3.13.0, so far. Server-Side Object Container Streaming has I think passed it's growing pains, sort of, so it's actually working as it should, and helping a lot. This Build still has some Glitches, Bugs, Lag Spikes, Desync and some client net-code issues. Though, when I move over to a new and fresh instance, everything seems fine. It's just as the server grows older with more use, it starts to die. Resulting in poor performance all around. Though, now that I have finally upgraded my machine, my game does run much more smoothly. No more crashes! It is still excellent, as we are still testing an Alpha. It is also very RAM and CPU intensive. Requiring 16GB of RAM. Minimum. It is improving though, as I showcase in the video.
