Bradner, Ohio-based Davidson Trucking small fleet owner and founder Dan Davidson showed this 2000 Freightliner FLD, one of many in his stable of working classics, during That's a Big 10-4 on D.C. on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., in October 2020. In this video, Davidson details extensive refurbishment work put in, including an engine replacement with a 15-liter 6NZ engine for a power upgrade. Davidson and his shop dressed up the rig with bright parts mostly from 4 State Trucks in Joplin, Mo., after an all-around resto. The unit ran under the tutelage of an owner-operator leased with Davidson Trucking before Dan bought the truck back and ultimately made it his own.
