Описание: ''Baby, let's go visit Selena.'' Rebecca nudged my elbow.

We were walking around the park near my house where I took Selena a few weeks ago.

If only Rebecca knew how much it hurt me to even think of Selena.

''Why are you trying so hard to avoid Selena? Yes, I've noticed. Now explain.'' Rebecca hissed, crossing her arms and tapping her foot against the grass.

My mouth hung wide open in hopes of playing this off correctly.

''I just--'' I paused reiterating in my mind what exactly I was going to tell Rebecca who knew when I lied.

''Selena likes me and I feel weird around her.'' I blurted dying inside.

I was seriously a messed up person trying to keep a relationship going that is probably not true love at all.

I'm selfish and I know it.

''That little--''

''Don't call her anything.'' I interrupted feeling guilt surround me from every side.

''So who's side are you on then?'' Rebecca questioned furiously, throwing her hands in the air.

''There are no sides here Rebecca! Selena likes me, so what?''

''Do you like her?'' she asked, crossing her arms again and raising an eyebrow.

Yes.

''No. She's your best friend.'' I lied.

I did like Selena.

A lot.

But unfortunately she was mad at me.

That's what killed me the most.

Not knowing everything's cool between us.

Not knowing if she will ever like me again and give me a second chance and attempt to make things right.

It all kills me inside.

''Prove it.'' Rebecca growled, sending me an icy, cold glare.

She didn't believe me?

What kind of girlfriend doesn't believe their boyfriend?

''Fine. Let's go to her house.'' I said.

Everything was just lie after lie after lie.

Once you lie once, you have to keep adding to those and adding and adding.

They never stop until you say so.

They don't stop until you set the truth free.
