This professional high speed blender has a lot of power!
It blends, purees, pulses and grinds. It has a touch screen menu so there's no more tiny buttons to press on. The pitcher is plastic so it's lighter than glass. The lid is silicone with a plastic cover and handle for easy removal and dropping in ingredients. The base is heavy with side handles for easy handling. The blade is strong, it can handle the hardest ingredient you can throw at it. This blender yields fantastic results from juices, to smoothies to sauces to dips to nut butters.

It has multiple per-programmed settings. By pressing "M" each time you get the following selection:

Beverages- Fruit juice, Smoothie, Green drink, Milk shake, Crush ice
Puree - Fruit, Vegetable, Ice Cream
Grind - Grains, Nuts, Spices
Manual Settings - Slow, Medium, Medium High, High
Speed - 1 through 10

By pressing the up and down arrows you can select the different options within that program. Then hitting Start to start or to stop. These per-programmed settings will stop automatically after optimal results has achieved and you can follow the status bar on the touch screen. You can of coarse stop at any time by pressing Start. This blender continue to amazes me. It crushes ice instantly. I've made grape juice out of whole grapes and some water and it tastes way better than the bottled ones. Milk shakes come out smooth and frothy, always. This kitchen appliance is definitely a keeper.
