Marvel's Spider-Man received a number of accolades including being named as one of the best superhero games ever made. It became one of the fastest-selling games of the year and one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 games of all time. Marvel's Spider-Man was followed by Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps, a three-part downloadable content (DLC) released between October and December 2018, Spider-Man: Miles Morales (November 2020), a sequel focusing on Spider-Man's ally Miles Morales, and a remastered version of Spider-Man for the PlayStation 5 and Windows. A sequel, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, is scheduled for release in 2023.
