How to Make East Indian Varias | Wedding Special Bhokache Vade | सोपी भोकाचे वाडे रेसिपी | Warias

This is an East Indian Wedding Special recipe called Varias or Bhokache Vade. I along with my sister has tried to show they entire steps how these tasty varias are made so that you too can make them easily at home.

Ingredients: (1 cup = 200 ml)
1/2 Cup (100 Gms) Urad Dal/black gram dal
1/2 Cup (100 Gms) White Rice (Avoid par boiled or basmati rice)
1/2 Cup (107 Gms) Chana Dal/Split Chickpea lentil
1 + 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour/Maida - You can use Whole Wheat Flour too
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
Total weight of all the 3 flours after washing, drying and grinding was 300 gms, so you can take 300 gms of All-purpose flour/Whole wheat flour

To activate the Yeast
1 Cup Warm Water
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Dry Yeast/Fresh yeast

1 Cup Water to knead the dough
Oil for deep frying
Net weight of varias after frying 870 gms
Remains good for 2 days at room temperature
