In this week’s adventure we return to our off-grid island cabin deep in the Canadian wilderness to begin preparing for the long, cold winter ahead. After months away traveling through Europe, it feels incredible to finally be back on the lake surrounded by the forests and quiet beauty of northern Canada.
Join us as we open up the log cabin after being away, get the fire going, and start preparing the cabin for winter life off the grid. Along the way we spend time with friends and family, enjoy the peaceful wilderness, and take in some breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
One of the highlights of this trip was a helicopter ride over the lake, giving us a bird’s-eye view of the island, the cabin, and the endless forests that make this part of Canada so special. Seeing the area from above really shows just how remote and wild this place truly is.
If you enjoy off grid living, log cabin life, wilderness adventures, bushcraft, and exploring the beautiful Canadian outdoors, this is a place you’ll feel right at home.
