2008 KTM 990 Adventure S
6,500 miles
Bike was bought used. Previous owner had let it sit idle for several years. Issue cropped up a month or two into ownership and has gotten progressively worse. Bike will die when the throttle is chopped and seems to have a weak spot around 4,000-4,500 RPM.
No erratic idle.
Attempted fixes:
Side stand switch removed
Clutch safety switch bypassed
SAS / Canister removal (Rottweiler)
O2 Sensor removal and dongles (Rottweiler)
G2 Throttle tamer
New fuel pump and filters
Injectors cleaned and serviced
Akra Map for 07-08
TuneECU Reset Adaptation
Many 15 minute resets
New air filter
Uni pre filter
Redline fuel cleaner
Nothing has made a difference. New throttle position sensor on order.
