TRANSCRIPT:
I am Dr. Leandro Mena and I'm here to talk all things STIs.
In an ideal world, you shouldn't have to ask to get tested for STIs, because this will be part of your routine care. But the reality is that this doesn’t always happen.
And it's important for you to talk to your healthcare provider and tell them that you want to be tested for STIs.
If each one of us will go to a healthcare provider and ask them, “I want to be tested and treated for STIs.”
Overnight, all STIs will decrease.
So, we have really good tools out there, we just have to access them and make sure that we can benefit from treatments that we have available.
