Ski along with us as we tour in to the amazing Bow Hut. This hut is maintained by the Alpine Club of Canada, and is one of almost 30 huts they run. The Bow Hut is part of the greater Wapta Traverse and Bow-Yoho Traverse which both cross a number of glaciers in Banff National Park and the latter in Yoho National Park. Approximately 3-6 hours in, this hut is fully outfitted with everything one would need to live comfortably in the alpine backcountry. With a full kitchen, outhouse facility, and sleeping quarters with mattress pads, your comfort is assured.

While there is no glacier travel to reach the hut, all objectives other than The Onion require glacier travel. You will need to decide whether you have an adaquate level of experience for this trip - I can't make that assessment for you. If you are unsure, there are many willing guides who will help you safely enjoy all Bow Hut has to offer.
