Yes, it's another fashion doll journal! I thought I was through, too, but apparently, that's not the case! I purchased this book for my mother-in-law years ago because she LOVED fashion, and she looked the part too! She was a very successful English and French antiques dealer for over 40 years, and she was always dressed "to the nines" as we used to say. She loved this book, and I would occasionally see her browsing through it. Sadly, she passed away last year, and the book has returned to me. I'd forgotten about it, quite frankly, until I rediscovered it a few months back. As soon as I opened the pages, I knew what I had to do.
So....I've begun! This journal will be for my personal use, and judging by the size of the bound book, it will likely be two volumes. I've deconstructed two volumes, rough cut all the outfits, and backed each one with card stock. Now I've started to fussy cut each one. After that's done, I'll start embellishing them, then I'll create the cover.
I've decided to take my time on each outfit so that I can enjoy the process. I think it will be great to work on it in between other projects or when I just want a quick change from whatever I'm working on at the time.
