What a better a idea than a nice family hike for Christmas! A few days ago I went on a day hike to the "Rocher de Miglos" in the Pyrenees, not far from the village of Chateau Verdun. The whole way from the village of Larcat and back took us around 6 hours, 17km and a drop of 800m. It is a very nice hike to do with a nice weather.
