NASA scientist Colin Goldblatt tells us just how we can answer that question - without ever leaving earth.

University of Victoria professor in the department of Earth and Ocean Sciences who studies the evolution of climate, geochemistry and life on the Earth and on Earth-like planets (exoplanets!). Colin is also a collaborator at the NASA Astrobiology Lab.
