Come along with us as we explore Conrad Yelvington Distributors aggregate operation in Largo, FL. At the time this video was shot in Feb 2023, CYDI was the only operator of ALCO RS-1's in regular revenue freight service in the US! CYDI knows the historical importance of these units, and finds them to be generally maintenance free, however, they do have a stash of ALCO 539 and other parts to keep these units running for years to come.
This video introduces a new format designed to separate the railroad content from the automotive content, hopefully you enjoy!
