We left the Carlsbad, NM area and landed(pun intended) at Bottomless Lake State Park @ 20 min outside of Roswell, NM. Weary of wandering out of the protection of our aluminum Airstream in fear of aliens, we head into town for one of the best burgers we've ever eaten at Chef Toddzilla's, we check out the Roswell UFO museum and research center and the Roswell museum of art.
We spent some time exploring the hiking trails near Bottomless Lake State Park and even spent some time relaxing by the crystal clear lake in the parks recreation area. All in all a great quick stop on our way North.
