Ashitaka is the 3 time reigning champion of the King of Handhops contest in Japan.
He has been dancing for over 8 years.
He has made public appearances on Japanese TV and has held handhop workshops throughout Japan.
He currently holds the world record for most elbow ups, at 36.
He also has a lecture DVD dedicated to teaching handhops and the majority of the common variations seen.
In addition to that, the DVD also covers concepts such as how to enter handhops and how to create original handhop variations.
