PARiS | THE GOLD & BLUE BOOMBOX

Описание: a year into living in paris an idea formed in my head to roam around the city capturing golden hour & blue hour. i always love watching how the light and the shadows change within the city as the sun goes down, especially during the summertime when the sun sets late. whether you wander around with headphones on or not, paris to me feels like a giant boombox with unlimited diverse songs filling your ears and your eyes. so i walked aimlessly and intuitively, seeking beauty through light around each corner. first this was gonna be called "the city talks" and i also almost called it "permanent parisian sunset." i'm still not completely sure what the best title is. the movie finishes on the seine during a spontaneous moment with a scottish man entering frame to sing alongside the norwegian band les imprimés. it's an unreleased moment from my old youtube channel ‪@smallsongs‬. this video represents a transformation towards making more authentic creations as a director. i want to make movies that flow directly through me. i love to be inspired with an idea and then to translate that idea through cinema. this is a time capsule of the way that the world looks through my eyes at the moment. through my wife & my kid's italian citizenship, i've just become a french resident. we're looking forward to growing and existing and creating together in this beautiful city.
