“Punjab gave its mandate”, CM Mann hits out at opposition parties after civic poll sweep

Описание: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reacted strongly after the municipal election results and said people of the state have voted for work, development, education, health schemes and employment.
AAP emerged as the biggest party in Punjab’s local body elections by winning around 800 wards across 104 local bodies including 8 municipal corporations.
During his press conference CM Mann also targeted Congress, BJP and Akali Dal saying opposition parties should accept defeat instead of making excuses after elections and claimed AAP received support from every region of Punjab including Malwa, Majha and Doaba.
Mann further said Punjab people believe in positive politics and peaceful voting while also assuring development work in every area even where AAP candidates did not win.
