Take a midday break for a virtual, 45-minute field trip. Our first Virtual Voyage is with our friends at President Lincoln's Cottage, a historic site, and museum located 3 miles north of the White House where Lincoln and his family spent 1/4 of his presidency. Here, Lincoln made some of his most nation-changing decisions and developed the Emancipation Proclamation. Today, we use Lincoln’s example to inspire visitors to take their own path to greatness and preserve this place as an authentic, tangible connection to the past and a beacon of hope for all who take up Lincoln’s unfinished work.

Virtual Voyages are 45-minute, online field trips designed to provide a behind-the-scenes experience and ideas for your next trip in real life. Each program will orient you to a different historic place, share stories onsite, and offer information on what’s new to explore, with time for audience Q&A.
