I taped this from the audience with a cassette Walkman, and while it's obviously an audience recording, I dare say it sounds surprisingly good for one. The story was, this was supposed to be a quartet gig with Kenny Garrett on saxophone, but he got snowed in in New York and couldn't make it, so they played it as a trio. The result is a rare chance to hear KK play all the melodies and really stretch out on the solos.
