Produced by the Klaw & Erlanger company in 1914, Beverly of Graustark is the first film adaptation of author George Barr McCutcheon's 1904 novel. The film stars Linda Arvidson as the titular character Beverly Calhoun. At the time, Linda Arvidson was married to D.W. Griffith although the two were officially separated.
