33-year-old Larry Bird with his 2nd career 40-point triple double. Bird had 69 triple-doubles in his career, but a 40-point triple double is something else. Only 8 players have done it in modern NBA game (1980-2012) - Bird had three of them in his unbelievable career (47-12-11 vs Portland in '86, 40-11-10 vs Sonics in '89 and 49-14-12 vs Portland in '92). This is the only one I have never seen on YouTube, so here it is.
40 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists on 17/27 FG.
This guy is a true legend of the game.
