I Destroyed my Action Camera in Maine and Amazon Knows It - the Wolfang GA420 - 2024 Ep 26

Описание: As the title says, I destroyed the Wolfang GA420 action camera that was on the trailer when I had my accident in Maine in July. Its last footage was capturing the accident magnificently. The camera actually still works and if I can get the protective glass off the lens, it might still be useful. As is, the cracks and scratches make the video too blurred. I mentioned the accident in a Snippet while I was still on the road and in a couple of emails to friends. How it does it, I don’t know, but Amazon somehow picked up on that and about 3 weeks later offered me a $40 coupon on the same camera. Amazon knows me well. Once a camera goes on sale for around $150 Cdn and I know it has good specs, well, I bought one in August and it was waiting for me in Cow Head when I got off the road at the end of October.
I’m not a brand fanatic… heck I didn’t even like the Beatles until the White Album. I don’t feel the need to have the latest, newest, improved “best” gear. I need good working gear at a reasonable price that I can beat up.
I left Newfoundland with a GA420 on the trailer and another one on my chin mount. The one on my helmet was in daily use from then until I got back. Every riding day recording 3-6 hours of footage. I am quite pleased with it.

Note that I did not receive the new Wolfang GA420 as a gift or as product to review. I bought it and just happen to like it. There are a lot of alternatives to DJI, GoPro and 360 cameras. You just need to figure out what you want to do with them and how much you are willing to pay. Also, how much you are willing to lose if you drag one along the pavement under your tent trailer.
