Porvorim Police have arrested a 25-year-old man from Mapusa in a narcotics-related case following a raid conducted near Pundalik Devasthan Temple at Pundalik Nagar, Penha de Franca, Bardez.

The operation was carried out on the night of June 10 by PSI Arun Shirodkar and his team, during which around 285 grams of suspected ganja, valued at approximately ₹29,000 in the illicit market, was reportedly seized.

Police also attached a TVS Apache motorcycle and other materials during the panchanama proceedings. The accused has been booked under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Sachin Shirodkar of Porvorim Police Station.
