This short dramatic depiction of a Canadian goose protecting his partner from an aggressive Mute Swan.

The male swan was going after the nesting female goose, when the gander came to the rescue to take on and distract the swan. The goose made sure to distract and attack each time the swan got too close.

Here the gander after luring the swan away from the nest, turns around and attacks the swan. Then the goose dodges several attacks from the swan before flying off. The swan appears to celebrate a brief victory with a cry into the sky and a large stretch of the wings. Many of this world will often delude themselves into claiming victory. However, the goose is the hero of this story, protecting his family from danger and standing up to the bully.
