For efficiently organizing and leading the battalion’s offensive on 24 June 1944, skillfully maneuvering forces in close coordination with artillery and air support, breaking through a strong multilayered enemy defense, being the first to breach the forward trench, disorganizing enemy fire, enabling the regiment to advance up to 16 km, and securing a bridgehead on the Tremlja River

Made of solid silver and enamels. The order measures 48.93 mm in width, 49.80 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 41.9 grams without its screwplate.

In nice condition, with the only flaw being an enamel repair to the 3 o’clock ray of the red star. This is done quite nicely and hard to detect with an untrained eye. The other rays are without repair or damage. The details remain sharp and fully defined, including raised areas such as Nevsky’s face, and a substantial amount of original gold plating is still present. Both sides display a medium dark patina. The order is fitted with a period silver screwplate and the screw retains its full length and shows no repairs.

24 June 1944, Guards captain TSELIGORODTSEV I.I. efficiently organised offensive operations of his battalion exercising an efficient manoeuvre coordinated with artillery and air support. He efficiently organised his battalion assault against a strong multilayered enemy defence. As the result of this, having created a passage in enemy barbed wire obstacles, the battalion conducted a swift assault and was the first to enter enemy forward trench. Thus, he created a breach in the enemy defences and disorganised enemy system of fire, allowing the whole regiment to exploit the success on its flanks, advance forward up to 16km, and seizing bridgehead on the river Tremlja.

For success in the combat mission, for efficient organisation of coordination within different arms, for inflicting defeat upon the enemy with only small casualties in return, he deserves state award order “ALEKSANDER NEVSKY”.
