We wanted to share some tidbits with you all about swimming after a few patients came to us with concerning complications.
Swimming can be so fun and great exercise, BUT when used incorrectly, it can actually hinder your pet's recovery or even cause injury. We generally don't recommend swimming for most of our patients because it would do more harm than good.
Lastly, no matter where you decide to go for Hydrotherapy, make sure your pet is handled only by trained and licensed veterinary staff that know how to assess and treat your pup's condition safely.
