Day 1 of my Gujarat travel vlog begins with a journey to Somnath Temple, one of the most sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India.
After landing in Rajkot, I took a sleeper bus to Veraval, which was my first sleeper bus experience. After checking into a hotel, I went out during the beautiful golden hour to explore Somnath Temple and nearby places.
In this vlog, I explore:
Somnath Temple Darshan
Veraval city near Somnath
Baan Ganga (two Shivlings near the Arabian Sea)
Peaceful coastal road walk
A stunning sunset view with almost no crowd
Authentic Gujarati cuisine
Later in the evening, I also checked train options for my next destination Sasan Gir National Park, where I planned to go for a jungle safari.
