Interview with Joseph Pizza, Italian Tailor (1994) Part II/II

Описание: Since the last video description focused more on the Audio I figured this part should focus on Mr. Pizza himself, most I uncovered from the LOC and his obituary.
Joe Pizza was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on May 1919, before moving to Paterson for most of his life. He had been a tailor at Ritz Tailor Shop (the shop in the video) since 1948, and presumably owned the place before closing it and retire more than fifty years later in 1999; He enjoyed his retirement before passing away a decade later in February 2009, at the grand age of 89. It’s a shame I never got to meet this incredible maestro!
This video uses the remaining three audio tapes once again sourced from the Library of Congress. The images of Joe Pizza and his shop are also from there.
