Coast Guard hopes to refloat Ever Forward in coming days

Описание: The U.S. Coast Guard said it hopes to refloat the stuck Ever Forward cargo ship in the coming days. The ship has been stranded for more than a month in the Chesapeake Bay off the coast of Gibson Island. The Coast Guard told 11 News Friday morning that teams removed 323 containers from the ship. The goal is to remove 500 containers before attempting for a third time to refloat the ship. Refloating the ship will depend on whether the Coast Guard can get the rest of the containers off in time. Two barges are being used to take the containers back to the Port of Baltimore.
