A play from our first book of plays for Pelham Puppets written by Joan Field in the 50s.
This film is to celebrate the work of Bob Pelham a dear friend of my parents.
I am Ann Perrin one of Joan's daughters. My mother and I operated the puppets and just let the camera run. My late mother was in her late 70s when we decided to make these films.
Later in life I became a poet and my latest collection is called
'The Puppeteer's Daughter'
I still have 150 marionettes from our own collection. Ron and Joan Field's Marionettes in storage. Ann Perrin
