The USDA just released it's 2023 update to the Hardiness Zone Map. Half of the US now finds themselves in a different zone! Here we'll go over what the zones are and how/why they've changed, as well as show a side by side comparison of each portion of the country.
If you want to look up your specific address, you can do so on the USDA's website here: https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/
Remember, the hardiness zones are meant as a guideline. There are many other factors to consider when deciding what to plant for your region and climate. Plus, with care and attention you can always push the boundaries of your zone with various gardening practices.
But hopefully this overview and the side by side comparison are helpful to give you and idea of how things have changed!
