Amazon QLDB is a fully managed ledger database that provides a transparent, immutable, and cryptographically verifiable transaction log ‎owned by a central trusted authority.

and it is immutable (so it means that the data that you have on the database cannot be changed)
and cryptographically verifiable would mean that we might be using a hashing algorithm to verify each transaction.
