Kansas City, MO — January 22, 2026: Authorities reported that a man was killed following a transport truck accident Thursday afternoon off Parvin Road in Kansas City. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. at a location near 8750 NE Parvin Road, just off Kentucky Avenue. Officials said the man was unloading a Dodge Caravan from a transport truck when the vehicle reportedly rolled unexpectedly. Reports indicate that the Dodge pinned the man between the vehicle and a nearby tow truck. The man sustained fatal injuries at the scene, according to authorities. No other injuries were reported. The incident remains under investigation.
