In this edition of The Shipper, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council strengthens collaboration with key security agencies to enhance maritime safety and improve port operations in Nigeria.
The Council hosted high-level visits from the Western Naval Command of the Nigerian Navy and the Ports Authority Police (Western) Command at its headquarters in Lagos. Discussions focused on strengthening strategic partnerships, improving intelligence sharing, and ensuring safer and more efficient cargo movement across the nation’s ports.
Also in this episode, our Titbits segment highlights the successful resolution of a cargo dispute involving a damaged luxury vehicle, where the Nigerian Shippers’ Council facilitated the replacement of a 2017 Mercedes-Benz with a superior 2018 AMG GLE 43 for the consignee.
