This video explains a GATE 2025 linear algebra problem where we find the determinant of matrix \(Q = P^3 - 2P^2 - 4P + 13I_2\). Using the known eigenvalues of matrix \(P\) (2 and 3), we compute the eigenvalues of \(Q\) by evaluating the polynomial at each eigenvalue.
