Описание: One of the primary missions of Home Base is to expand access to care for all veterans, especially those in underserved populations, says Laura Harward, LICSW, director of the Intensive Clinical Program at Wounded Warrior Project’s Home Base program. They are working to do this by expanding their sites across the country and by training general practitioners on military cultural competency as well as the most effective treatments, like Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, for veterans with PTSD, TBI, and other invisible wounds of war.
