Luckily, I got access to try out the new free-to-play "Delta Force: Hawk Ops" alpha playtest.
As a big fan of the Delta Force series, I’ve been playing since I can remember—I was even in the DDT clan back in the day. Join me as I explore this exciting new game!

My short take on the game experience so far:
Please set your expectations correctly—this one is not directly related to the classic series, but it’s still a blast. Think of it as a mix between DMZ and Battlefield. It offers DMZ-like extraction modes and large-scale Battlefield-like combat. So, while you won’t get that classic "Novalogic" experience, the fun is definitely there in its own right.

Game tips:
When looting a dead player verify there is no "reward" button at top of his inventory, this is a cash reward you can collect! - source    • 15 ADVANCED Tips & Tricks you DIDN’T Know ...  
Hold "R" and select the ammo type to switch quickly.
Check "Gear Set" loadouts in "Tactical Turmoil" right before joining the raid for free raid loadout, remember that you can take custom items in safe container with "Gear Set" - source    • Delta Force Extraction Mode Guide ✅   - great tips!!! More of those below
Turn "auto sort" on "game options" and check "sort by type" in same menu
Unlock "Hacklaw" operator using 200 gold coins earned from event challenges

PLATFORMS
The PC Alpha Test is available on PC through Steam and the official launcher. Get it from our official website at www.playdeltaforce.com or join the Steam Playtest here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/25....

HOW TO GET ACCESS
There are three ways to access the closed alpha test:

Official Website: Visit www.playdeltaforce.com and fill out the player survey on the front page. If selected, you'll receive confirmation within 24 hours before the test begins.
Steam Playtest Feature: Visit our Steam page https://store.steampowered.com/app/25... and select the "Playtest" option.
Steam Keys from Twitch Drops & Community Giveaways: Keep an eye out for community giveaways or watch your favorite streamer with Twitch Drops enabled to gain Alpha Test access!

STEAM/LAUNCHER CROSS-PROGRESSION
For the PC Alpha Test, Steam and the official launcher versions do not support cross-progression, and access to one does not grant access to the other.

STEAM/LAUNCHER CROSS-PLAY
Cross-play is supported between Steam and the official launcher as long as the regions are the same (EU or NA). Cross-play is not supported between different regions (EU and NA).

AVAILABLE CONTENT
Players can try out Hazard Operations (extraction) and Havoc Warfare (large-scale combat) game modes. Six Operators and over 40 weapons are available, along with the extensive Gunsmith weapon customization system. Please note that the Black Hawk Down campaign mode will not be available in the PC Alpha Test—but stay tuned for more on that soon!
