This Khutbah was delivered at the Muslim Community Center - East Bay (MCC East Bay) in Pleasanton, California on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Sidi Yaseen Mahmoud is a Bay Area native and graduate of Zaytuna College in Islamic Studies and Arabic. He completed memorizing the Quran at the age of 14 and has been leading Taraweeh ever since. He currently serves as an Imam in San Francisco teaching Quran, Tajweed, and Arabic to aspiring students of knowledge. In addition to his role as an Imam, he enjoys the outdoors, teaching, and singing Nasheed with fellow Bay Area munshideen.
