The High Court Order on Bhutani Project - Explained

Описание: The Goa High Court has dismissed two Public Interest Litigations (PILs) challenging the Bhutani project at Sancoale. In its judgment, the court observed that there was no flaw in the permission granted under Section 17-A in favour of the project proponent. The court further noted that the village panchayat, after proper and due consideration of the application submitted by the project roponent, acted appropriately. The permission was also based on the development clearance issued by the Mormugao Planning & Development Authority.
