In this fourth episode of our research lab series at the Helmholtz Institute Jena and the Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Jena, we present the JETI 200 laser system – one of the most powerful ultrafast lasers of its kind in Europe. ⚡🔬
The JETI 200 delivers peak powers exceeding 200 terawatts with pulse durations as short as 17 femtoseconds. Combined with a tunable probe beam system (JETI 1), it enables groundbreaking experiments in laser wakefield acceleration and plasma diagnostics.
