i could finally realize my own ES 335 project.
I am just an amateur woodworker and this was my second guitar build (my first was a baroque lute).
I used plans from electric herald (https://www.electricherald.com) however i modified the body size and shape to make it a bit smaller than the original and let the horns look more like horns than mickey mouse ears. The body shape and dimensions are now somewhere between Hagstrom Viking and Framus Mayfield.
The body is walnut with a maple center block, sides are walnut-maple-maple. The neck is maple-walnut-maple. Fingerboard and headstock veneer are ebony.
So thanks to Tchiks Guitars and all the other luthiers (and non-luthiers) on YouTube who share their knowledge and motivate people who would have never tackled such projects before the age of the internet!
