In this mission, Fuel Run, BLUFOR must stop OPFOR from fueling their helicopters at a airfield either by destroying the fuel truck or disrupt the movement of jerry cans. As this video starts most of C2 has been killed leaving only Tominator, Rommel and I. Our intent is to flank the enemy and clear the hangers along the runway to gain a foothold.
There is an excellent example of lack of situational awareness and poor judgement on my part at the end of the video. I should have stayed with Tominator and covered him but I got too aggressive. I also did not use my TrackIR effectively and took my weapon away from the threat to look to my left, a deadly mistake. Sometimes the half a second it takes to take a glance means the difference between life and death.
