Описание: We received a raptor rescue call for an injured hawk unable to fly in a fenced-in backyard in St. Louis County, MO. These rescue calls rarely go as predicted and this bird gave us the runaround... The bird had been fairly inactive and found refuge behind some trash cans in their yard, so it was quite surprising the chase we were led on.

Michael Beran, the owner of The Wildlife Command Center, has 40+ years of experience with nuisance wildlife and has been a Master Falconer since 2005 and established Raptor Rescue Inc. in 2010 to help rescue injured birds of prey and see to it that they receive the proper medical treatment after being successfully captured. An injured animal can be dangerous and unpredictable, and birds of prey are fragile and have to be handled with care and expertise, being such we don't recommend the general public try to capture a bird or animal by themselves, that's why we're here.
