Droplet Formation in a Flow-Focusing Microfluidic Device

Описание: Droplet-based microfluidic systems provide an analytic platform that enables the isolation of single cells or groups of cells in droplets.

A computational fluid dynamic (CFD) model was conducted to better understand droplet size and generation rate in a flow-focusing (FF) microchannel. Furthermore, the Level Set (LS) method was used to analyze the droplet-breaking process in this device.
